Quinta Santa Luzia


Quinta Santa Luzia nestles in the hills of the hinterland of the Algarve about 3 km. north of the old town of Loulé. Set in an old small holding there are various trees; olive, carob, almond, lemon and fig. There are also wild herbs such as thyme, rosemary, lavender and colourful oleander- and bougainvillea bushes.

The Quinta lies on a slope with beautiful views over the hills to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. It borders on an area of outstanding, natural beauty which offers opportunities for walking, horse riding, cycling, picnicking, etc. Quinta Santa Luzia is an ideal place for rest in the peaceful, countryside. Yet, endless, golden, sandy beaches are just 15 minutes away by car.

For those who like to play golf, there are a wide range of golf courts within easy reach of the house along the coast. You can reach Quinta Sta. Luzia from Faro airport in 20 minutes by car.

The Quinta consists of the original house, a 150 year old farmhouse built in typical Algarvian style. Over the years it has been extended to provide extra rooms and facilities. CASA DA LUZ has recently been completed. This is a new stand-alone villa available to rent for up to six people. In front of the villa is a 10m x 5m swimming pool, and terraced gardens.

CASA DA LUZ is available to rent throughout the year. It is suitable for short or long term lettings.
The swimming pool is for the use of guests and will sometimes be used by your hosts.
